Still figuring this out.

I guess I should be posting more...
Fact is, I don't really understand this whole Live Journal, so much. I like "talking" with others.... but often on their dime, not mine. I like the interaction, but I suffer at everything else.
Meanwhile, I'm just working on Bomb Queen. Working on this and yet even more of it. It's so odd I've taken this route. This character is the total opposite of my beliefs, and ideals. In fact, all my books prior to this have supported diversity - but Bomb Queen is a celebration of over-the-top 1990s Bad Girl comics. But, as I told my friend the other day, diversity and freedom means the whole burrito, not just the cream cheese. Often the real test of acceptance comes not from preaching to the choir (as I've done before) but from condoning those of opposite views. Not that I'm defending the KKK, or Neo-Nazis, criminals and such. But that I, at least, can see the other side of the fence. It's a strange place to be in. Much like being a double agent. The response for this tits & ass book (for good and bad) could make a solid case for a study in sociology. Likewise, when I pick up my all-ages book in 2008, it'll be interesting to see the reaction from this close-loop industry.
Strange days, indeed.
But I'm enjoying the ride.
Meanwhile, I'll post a lil' more and try to figure out just what this Journal is supposed to be about - beyond a vehicle of registration that allows me access to the journal of others. Hahaha!
